Diana Ross Is Bringing Her 'Thank U' Tour to Dublin
Diana Ross has long been known as THE diva of the pop, disco, soul and Motown sound and has sold more than 100 million records, as both the lead singer of The Supremes and as a solo artist. This makes her one of the most successful entertainers and recording artists of all time.
Diana Ross has performed on stages around the world since the start of career and today Aiken Promotions is proud to present DIANA ROSS in her ‘Thank U Tour’, on Sunday 3 July 2022 at Dublin’s 3Arena.
From her landmark solo career to the early days as the leader of The Supremes, Ross helped shape the sound of popular music, changing the landscape and paving the way for contemporary music.
Ross’ international achievements were acknowledged by the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC (2007), celebrating her lustrous career of excellence in music, film, television and theatre, as well as her cultural influences, humanitarian work and her contributions to American culture. The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences celebrated her remarkable career with its highest honor, The GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. In 2016, Ross received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the most prestigious civilian award given to a U.S. citizen.
Ahead of her appearance in Ireland, Diana Ross is set to perform the much revered ‘legends slot’ at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
