Heineken Big Top 2024 To Welcome Jess Glynne and Passenger
In the heart of Galway city, by the banks of the River Corrib, the build up to the annual Heineken® Big Top festival reaches new heights with two thrilling additions to the 2024 lineup. Galway International Arts Festival, in collaboration with Róisín Dubh, is proud to announce, Jess Glynne and Passenger will grace the Heineken® Big Top stage, sharing the spotlight with the already stellar cast, featuring Block Rockin Beats, Gavin James, KETTAMA, Kneecap, and The Saw Doctors. The epic music celebration is on from July 15 to 28, 2024, promising a cultural extravaganza. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable experience as the full programme, unveiled in May 2024, promises an eclectic blend of artistic brilliance and entertainment.
Jess Glynne is an English singer and songwriter. She is the first British female solo artist to have seven number one singles on the UK Singles Chart including I’ll Be There; Hold On; and Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself. She rose to prominence as a featured artist on singles such as Rather Be by Clean Bandit, My Love by Route 94 and, more recently, on Rudimental's These Days with Macklemore. She was also considered one of the "Most Influential People Under 30" by Forbes magazine in 2019.
Multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter, Passenger made the journey from street corner to stadium with Let Her Go, which reached No.1 in 19 countries and has now notched more than six billion streams globally and is the 2nd most Shazamed song of all time. He has now re-recorded his breakthrough hit as a duet with Ed Sheran as part of a tenth anniversary special edition of the hit album All the Little Lights.
Yet Let Her Go is just one song from a catalogue that extends across 13 albums in 13 years that has won Passenger a global fanbase as he continues to tour the world headlining some of its most famous stages.
